Iwan’s achievements include the establishment of a Digital Transformation Consultancy LLC JDS directed at assisting software companies to get their products to the market. Also, as Head of Methods, he led the use case, value case, MVP, and scale-up development of the Digital Twin of NOC’s Al Shaheen field in Qatar. His responsibilities included managing the Agile teams of company product owners and subject matter experts, software developers and management consultants. He was also a key driver of the scanning, 3D modelling, digitalization and the Digital Twin creation for the Al Shaheen field.
His experience is also based on a long career working with engineering contractors and Oil and Gas operator companies in delivering numerous successful upstream/ offshore projects and contracts, downstream projects, and overseeing large teams of engineers in the capacity of Engineering Manager, Project Manager, and Contract Manager. This unique mixture of engineering and digital development makes him a strong advocate for digital transformation and digital twins in the energy business.
