Mark is an Executive Advisor for business and commercial development of gas and liquified natural gas (LNG) projects, including structuring, marketing, venture and sales contract negotiations, and commercial operations management.
Almost all roles Mark held in BP were externally focused, in which his ability to build and nurture relationships with Governments, Regulators, national and international oil and gas companies, commodity customers, and other industry and non-industry participants was highly valued. These roles centred on forming and managing partnerships, joint ventures and stakeholder engagements. His influence spanned both strategic collaborations and commercial dealings.

A core part of his international assignments was developing national capability and members of his teams now hold senior roles in the industry.
