Tom’s role as Executive Strategy Legal Advisor is to provide independent expertise on strategic and commercial legal matters, litigation, arbitration, dispute resolution and negotiation.
Tom brings significant executive experience, with over 20 years working in the private and public sector, in national and international institutions and companies and law firms. He is a former GC and EVP with Equinor, BG Group and Shell Upstream.
Tom is a global oil and gas industry specialist in negotiations, litigation, arbitration, investigations, IPO’s, M&A, Government Relations and compliance. Throughout his career, he has been involved in major global litigation and arbitration cases relating to matters pertaining to investor versus state, JV, Construction, Trading and supply, Manufacturing, Post MA, Renewables, Energy Transition, Anti-Corruption and Bribery. With his deep knowledge of Oil and Gas commercial and legal issues, he is a highly sought after commodity.
