Jonathan is a highly experienced Reservoir Engineer with a strong technical background. Experience covers the full life cycle from Exploration, Development, FDP preparation, early field life development, late life evaluation, Reserves Reporting and Redetermination.

Jonathan is a highly experienced Reservoir Engineer with a strong technical background. Experience covers the full life cycle from Exploration, Development, FDP preparation, early field life development, late life evaluation, Reserves Reporting and Redetermination. He has published conference and peer reviewed papers in the areas of pressure transient testing, hydraulic fracturing, EOR and material balance and has considerable experience in reservoir simulation.

Jonathan has 36 years of industry experience, starting with Shell and then with many operators as an independent consultant. Geographic experience includes North Sea (UKCS, Norway, Denmark and Germany), North Africa, Brazil and the Middle East in both clastic and carbonate fields.

Jonathan holds a BSc in mathematics and physics from the University of Glasgow and PhD in physics from the University of Cambridge. He is an active member of the SPE and has served on the Board of the London SPE Section and on the Technical Committee of the SPE Europec Conference.
