Nev is an Executive Advisor at Rockflow providing technical advice and project management on a wide range of multidisciplinary, integrated subsurface characterisation, field development & production projects to oil & gas companies, investors and government agencies.
Nev is a geologist with over 28 years of industry experience gained with BP. Expert in geoscience, with global experience in integrated subsurface characterisation, reservoir management, field development and production. As BP’s Director of Geology, Nev has extensive leadership experience, responsible for over 800 geologists worldwide managing multidisciplinary subsurface and wells field teams and subsurface digital development. As a Senior Adviser in BP, Nev provided technical assurance to executives on major investment decisions, was the Project Manager for several data room ‘due diligence’ reviews in support of business development opportunities, and performed BP internal resource and reserve assessments having designed standard reserves support documentation used throughout the company.
Nev is a Fellow of the Geological Society of London and holds a PhD in Geology from the University of Liverpool and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Portsmouth.
